Who manages the portfolios at Motley Fool Wealth Management?
Handing over the keys to your hard-earned money can feel like a financial “trust fall” exercise. Rest assured, it’s our responsibility as a fiduciary to work in YOUR best interest. That’s a commitment we take seriously, and it’s just the beginning of our commitment to being a trusted partner in your financial journey.
Here’s a breakdown of our in-house professionals, and how they work together to manage your money responsibly. You can also learn more about each individual Fool on our Meet the Team page.
Portfolio Managers: Each strategy is overseen by two dedicated Portfolio Managers. Our Portfolio Managers and Analysts monitor the market, pick stocks, and balance portfolios, all while pursuing long-term, market beating results.
Traders: Our in-house trading team executes trade orders in your account, whether they are updating your holdings based on a Portfolio Manager’s trade decision or freeing up cash for a pending withdrawal. (Given the attention to detail required to do their jobs, clients are not permitted to speak directly with our trading team.)
Wealth Advisors: For clients with $300,000+ invested, your Wealth Advisor will be your main point of contact with Fool Wealth. A Wealth Advisor is responsible for helping you fine-tune your asset allocation, offering guidance on your financial strategy, and for clients with $1M+ invested, providing comprehensive financial planning services at no extra charge.
Client Experience: To help you set up your account, transfer assets, process paperwork, and answer any questions along the way, our in-house Client Experience team is here to support you! This team serves clients by managing any technical support needs they might have, and responding to any account management inquiries.
Custodians: Your assets are not held directly with Motley Fool Wealth Management—instead, we direct the trading activity within your account through our custodians: Interactive Brokers (IB) and Charles Schwab. These brokerages are responsible for safekeeping your assets.
