How do I open an account with Motley Fool Wealth Management?
If you plan to invest $6,000 to $300K with Fool Wealth…
You can get started by completing your Investor Profile—a brief financial survey to help us understand your income, risk appetite and long-term goals.
After you submit your profile, you’ll receive your personalized asset allocation recommendation from us right away! You’ll have the option to adjust the allocation to be more conservative or aggressive within a range that we believe is appropriate for your goals and time horizon.*
Once you accept an allocation proposal, you can open and fund your account right away through our self-serve portal with your custodian of choice (Interactive Brokers or Schwab). Then, our team will actively trade securities on your behalf.
Remember, you can log in to your Fool Wealth client dashboard at any time to see your holdings, transactions, and returns.
For clients who invest $300K or more with Fool Wealth…
You’ll gain access to advisor-based guidance in addition to our digital services. Our team of Wealth Advisors will be there to help you with the specific needs of a higher-net-wealth portfolio, and can answer your questions about your asset allocation.
Your first step is to book an introductory meeting with a Wealth Advisor. After learning more about your financial situation, they can walk you through the steps to open an account.
*We tailor our asset allocation recommendations for each client. However, our selection of individual securities is not personally tailored to client accounts. Rather, the individual securities purchased and sold for client accounts are based upon and track the holdings in our Model Portfolios which correspond to each strategy. Each of the securities in the Model Portfolios is carefully selected by our portfolio managers.
