How do I end my relationship with Motley Fool Wealth Management?

We hope you’ll be a Fool for life, but we understand that breakups are sometimes necessary.

To stop investing under our management, simply contact our team by sending your request to support@foolwealth.com or calling us at 844-408-4390 during business hours.

Discussing your decision with a Wealth Advisor is always encouraged, so don’t hesitate to reach out. Remember, as fiduciaries, we are legally bound to prioritize your interests over our own.

Ending our management of your account is called detachment. The detachment process depends on which custodian holds your account(s). Below are the custodian-specific details:

Interactive Brokers (IB) processes detachment requests once per week, and requests must be submitted by Thursday morning. Please note that it may take up to 10 business days for your account to be disassociated from Motley Fool Wealth Management, and during this interval, we may make trades in your account. Once your account has been detached, you will be given full control of trading in that account.

Charles Schwab processes detachment requests daily and can usually complete them within 24 hours. Once your account has been detached, you will be given full control to trade in that account.
