Does my investment portfolio carry FDIC insurance?

Your investment portfolio does not carry FDIC insurance, as FDIC insurance applies specifically to banks and bank deposits.

Investment brokerage accounts are subject to market fluctuations and volatility.

Your assets will be held by one of our two partner custodians—either Interactive Brokers or Charles Schwab. Customer securities accounts at a custodian are protected by the Securities and Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC). SIPC protects customer assets from the failure of a broker dealer.

For more information about SIPC—including how it works, what it protects, and how to file a claim—please refer to www.sipc.org and FINRA SIPC Protection.
